Fall 2019 Animation 1

(1)
Instructions:
PART 1: Design 20 Silhouettes by combining circles, squares, and triangles into compound shapes.  Start with primary body forms, then add secondary shapes (ears, noses, hair style contours).  Then add tertiary details to further differentiate each silhouette as a unique individual.
Submit via email for credit.

Reflection/Caption:
I liked these 20 silhouettes that I created the most, because they resemble work at an actual animation studio.  Mr. Webb showed us several silhouettes of famous cartoon characters, and you identify all of them even without seeing their faces.

Instructions:
This assignment asks students to draw over 3D renders, adding a face, including eyes, eyebrows, and a mouth for a blank rendered character, using Krita.

My Work:
Reflection/Caption:
The part that I liked most about this assignment, was how a 3D character could look more life-like and interesting, with drawings over each render.
